Acceptable Use Policy
Guidelines for using AviaSkill responsibly. What you can do, what you can't, and how we keep the platform safe for everyone.

This Acceptable Use Policy outlines how AviaSkill may and may not be used. It applies to all users, including those on free trials and paid subscriptions. This policy supplements our Terms of Service.
What You Can Do
AviaSkill is designed for aviation education and exam preparation. You may use the platform to:
- Study for FAA written exams (PPL, IFR, and future certifications)
- Practice with exam simulations and study modes
- Use the AI tutor to ask questions about aviation topics
- Track your study progress and exam readiness
- Use free aviation tools (crosswind calculator, METAR decoder, unit converter, etc.)
- Share your referral link with friends and classmates
- Access the platform from multiple personal devices (phone, tablet, laptop)
What You Cannot Do
Account Misuse
- Account sharing: Your AviaSkill account is for your personal use only. Do not share your login credentials with others.
- Multiple accounts: Do not create multiple accounts to circumvent trial limits, referral caps, or other restrictions.
- False information: Do not provide false or misleading information when creating your account.
- Impersonation: Do not impersonate another person or entity.
Content and Data Misuse
- Scraping or copying: Do not scrape, copy, download, or redistribute AviaSkill's question bank, explanations, or study materials — in whole or in part.
- Redistribution: Do not share, republish, or sell AviaSkill content on other platforms, websites, or study groups.
- Automated access: Do not use bots, scripts, crawlers, or other automated tools to access the platform without explicit written permission.
- Reverse engineering: Do not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of AviaSkill's software.
AI Tutor Misuse
- Non-aviation topics: The AI tutor is designed for aviation education. Do not use it for unrelated purposes, harmful content generation, or to attempt to override its safety guidelines.
- Prompt injection: Do not attempt to manipulate the AI tutor into producing content outside its intended purpose.
- Bulk extraction: Do not use the AI tutor to systematically extract or generate content for use outside the platform.
Platform Integrity
- Security interference: Do not attempt to probe, test, or breach the security of AviaSkill's systems, including but not limited to unauthorized access, DDoS attacks, or vulnerability exploitation.
- Service disruption: Do not take any action that imposes an unreasonable load on our infrastructure or disrupts the service for other users.
- Circumventing restrictions: Do not attempt to bypass subscription restrictions, trial limitations, rate limits, or other platform controls.
Referral Program Abuse
- Self-referrals: Do not create fake accounts to refer yourself.
- Spam: Do not send unsolicited bulk messages promoting your referral link.
- Misleading promotion: Do not make false claims about AviaSkill when sharing your referral link.
What Happens If You Violate This Policy
Violations of this policy may result in one or more of the following actions, at our discretion:
- Warning: We may issue a warning for first-time or minor violations
- Feature restriction: We may temporarily restrict access to specific features (e.g., AI tutor)
- Account suspension: We may temporarily suspend your account pending investigation
- Account termination: We may permanently terminate your account for serious or repeated violations
- Legal action: We may pursue legal remedies for violations that cause harm to AviaSkill or its users
We will make reasonable efforts to notify you before taking action, except where immediate action is necessary to protect the platform or other users.
